Hello, I'm Rylie. Navigating life's various stressors, challenges, and transitions can be difficult at times. Together, we can identify and explore your thoughts, feelings, communication styles, and coping skills to facilitate positive change and improve your quality of life. I graduated from The Ohio State University with a Master of Social Work (MSW) in 1998. With fifteen years of experience providing individual counseling to adults in a private practice setting, I have also worked with young adults and their parents/guardians in a medical setting. My background has given me a broad perspective and a deep understanding of the unique challenges different individuals face. I focus on adults, including young adults, and utilize a client-centered, strength-based approach to counseling. My practice employs multiple modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and client-centered therapy. I believe it is a privilege to support and collaborate with individuals in fostering an increased sense of emotional well-being. My specialties include anxiety, depression, life transitions, medical issues/physical health, stress and autism spectrum support. Whether you're dealing with a specific issue or just feeling overwhelmed, I'm here to help you navigate through it with empathy and understanding. Working with me means you'll find a safe, supportive space where your experiences and feelings are validated. We'll work together to build on your strengths and develop new strategies to enhance your quality of life. I am committed to helping you achieve your goals and improve your emotional well-being. If you're ready to take the next step towards a more fulfilling life, I'm here to support you. Let's work together to create positive change.
